§87‑50.  Reciprocity.

To the extent that otherstates which provide for the licensing of electrical contractors provide forsimilar action, the Board may grant licenses of the same or equivalentclassification to electrical contractors licensed by other states withoutwritten examination upon satisfactory proof furnished to the Board that thequalifications of such applicants are equal to the qualifications of holders ofsimilar licenses in North Carolina and upon payment of the required fee. (1969,c. 669, s. 1.)
