§ 88B‑14.  Licensing ofcosmetic art shops.

(a)        The Board shallissue a license to operate a cosmetic art shop to any applicant who submits aproperly completed application, on a form approved by the Board, pays therequired fee, and is determined, after inspection, to be in compliance with theprovisions of this Chapter and the Board's rules.

(b)        (Effective untilJuly 1, 2010) The applicant shall list all licensed cosmetologists whopractice cosmetic art in the shop and shall identify each as an employee or abooth renter.

(b)        (Effective July1, 2010) The applicant shall list all licensees who practice cosmetic artin the shop and shall identify each as an employee or a booth renter.

(c)        A cosmetic art shopshall be allowed to operate for a period of 30 days while the Board inspectsand determines the shop's compliance with this Chapter and the Board's rules.If the Board is unable to complete the inspection within 30 days, the shop willbe authorized to operate until such an inspection can be completed.
