§88B‑25.  Exemptions.

The following persons areexempt from the provisions of this Chapter while engaged in the properdischarge of their professional duties:

(1)        Undertakers andfuneral establishments licensed under G.S. 90‑210.25.

(2)        Persons authorizedto practice medicine or surgery under Chapter 90 of the General Statutes.

(3)        Nurses licensedunder Chapter 90 of the General Statutes.

(4)        Commissioned medicalor surgical officers of the United States Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, orCoast Guard.
