§ 90‑113.5.  StateBoard of Pharmacy, North Carolina Department of Justice and peace officers toenforce Article.

It is hereby made the duty of the State Board of Pharmacy, itsofficers, agents, inspectors, and representatives, and all peace officers withinthe State, including agents of the North Carolina Department of Justice, andall State's attorneys, to enforce all provisions of this Article, except thosespecifically delegated, and to cooperate with all agencies charged with theenforcement of the laws of the United States, of this State, and of all otherstates, relating to controlled substances. The North Carolina Department ofJustice is hereby authorized to make initial investigation of all violations ofthis Article, and is given original but not exclusive jurisdiction in respectthereto with all other law‑enforcement officers of the State.
