§ 90‑12.4.  Physicianassistant limited volunteer license.

The Board shall issue alimited volunteer license which shall authorize a physician assistant toperform medical acts, tasks, and functions without payment or othercompensation if the physician assistant meets one of the following:

(1)        Holds a currentlicense or registration in another state and submits proof of this status tothe Board.

(2)        Holds a currentlicense in this State and is not currently employed as a physician assistant.

(3)        Is a member of theUnited States armed services or is employed by the Veterans' Administration oranother federal agency. (1997‑511, s. 3; 2007‑346, s. 7.)
