§ 90‑672.  Unlawfulacts; injunctive relief; exclusion.

(a)        No person shall represent himself or herself as a CertifiedSafety Professional or Associate Safety Professional unless that person iscertified by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and has dulyauthorized the Board to file with the office of the Secretary of State allinformation required by G.S. 90‑674.

(b)        A violation of this section constitutes an unfair tradepractice under G.S. 75‑1.1, and a court may impose a civil penaltyagainst the defendant and shall be empowered to issue a restraining order toprevent further use of the title. (2000‑110, s. 1; 2000‑140, s. 98.)
