The Board may grant a license,without examination or by special examination, to any person who, at the timeof application, is licensed as a recreational therapist or therapeuticrecreation specialist by a similar Board of another country, state, orterritory whose licensing standards are substantially equivalent to or higherthan those required by this Chapter. The Board shall determine the substantialequivalence upon which reciprocity is based. (2005‑378, s. 2.)
