§94‑9.  Rotation of employment.

For the purpose of providinggreater diversity of training or continuity of employment, any apprenticeagreement made under this  Chapter may in the discretion of the Director ofApprenticeship be signed by an association of employers or an organization ofemployees instead of by an individual employer. In such a case, the apprenticeagreement shall expressly provide that the association of employers ororganization of employees does not assume the obligation of an employer butagrees to use its best endeavors to procure employment and training for suchapprentice with one or more employers who will accept full responsibility, asherein provided, for all the terms and conditions of employment and trainingset forth in said agreement between the apprentice and employer association oremployee organization during the period of each such employment. The apprenticeagreement in such a case shall also expressly provide for the transfer of theapprentice, subject to the approval of the Director, to such employer oremployers who shall sign in written agreement with the apprentice, and if theapprentice is a minor with his parent or guardian, as specified in G.S. 94‑8,contracting to employ said apprentice for the whole or a definite part of thetotal period of apprenticeship under the terms and conditions of employment andtraining set forth in the said agreement entered into between the apprenticeand employer association or employee organization.
