This Article shall receive aliberal construction to the end that the welfare of adult and minor workers maybe protected. If any provisions of this Article or the application thereof toany person or circumstance is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall notaffect the provisions or application of the Article which can be given effectwithout the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions ofthis Article are severable.
