Article4.

Job Training, Education,and Placement Information Management.

§ 96‑30.  Findings andpurpose.

The General Assembly finds itin the best interests of this State that the establishment, maintenance, andfunding of State job training, education, and placement programs be based oncurrent, comprehensive information on the effectiveness of these programs insecuring employment for North Carolina citizens and providing a well‑trainedworkforce for business and industry in this State. To this end, it is thepurpose of this Article to require the establishment of an information systemthat maintains up‑to‑date job‑related information on currentand former participants in State job training and education programs. (1995,c. 507, s. 25.6(a).)
