§ 5-54-14 Grounds for discipline without ahearing. – The director may temporarily suspend the license of a physician assistantwithout a hearing if the director finds that the evidence in his or herpossession indicates that a physician assistant's continuation in practicewould constitute a danger to the public. In the event that the directortemporarily suspends the license of a physician assistant without a hearing, ahearing by the board must be held within ten (10) days after the suspension.
