§ 54.1-2408. Disqualification for license, certificate or registration.

A board within the Department of Health Professions shall refuse to admit acandidate to any examination and shall refuse to issue a license, certificateor registration to any applicant if the candidate or applicant has had hislicense, certificate or registration to practice the profession or occupationrevoked or suspended, and has not had his license, certificate orregistration to so practice reinstated by the jurisdiction which revoked orsuspended his license, certificate or registration, except as may benecessary to license a nurse eligible for reinstatement in another partystate as consistent with the Nurse Licensure Compact.
