20-481.08. Appointment of director as agent for service of process; forwarding of process; consent to jurisdiction

Any person who is not a resident, domiciled in this state, or authorized to do business in this state and files a statement as required by section 20-481.02 shall be deemed to have:

1. Consented to the jurisdiction of the courts of this state for all actions arising under the provisions of this article.

2. Appointed the director of insurance as his lawful agent for the purpose of accepting service of process in any action, suit or proceeding that may arise under this article. Copies of all such lawful process accepted by the director as an agent shall be transmitted by the director by registered or certified mail to such person at his last known address.
