41-357. Bond A. A person who has been commissioned as an electronic notary shall file an oath of office and a bond with the secretary of state. A licensed surety shall execute the bond. The bond is effective for four years beginning on the commission's effective date. B. The secretary of state shall not accept any bond that was issued more than sixty days before or more than thirty days after the date on which the secretary of state commissions an electronic notary. |
