9-214. Election; ballots; procedure

A. On the day and at the place designated the officers shall open the polls and conduct the election. The board of supervisors shall provide a sufficient number of ballots of uniform size and printed on white paper on which shall be printed the words "For disincorporation--YES;" "For disincorporation--NO."

B. The manner of conducting and voting at the election, of keeping the poll list, canvassing the votes and certifying the returns, shall be as nearly the same as is provided by law for the general election of county officers, except as herein otherwise prescribed.

C. The board of supervisors shall record at length on their records and file in their office the certificate of election.
