SECTION 25448-25448.1
25448. The Department of Transportation shall award financial assistance to local jurisdictions for the purposes of providing technical assistance and equipment to improve traffic flow efficiency through optimized traffic signal timing and operations. 25448.1. Financial assistance provided under this article may not exceed 75 percent of the cost of carrying out the activity, unless the department determines that the public interest and objectives of this chapter would be better served at a higher level of state funding.
