      Sec. 54-64g. Surveillance of serious felony offenders released on bond. Not later than January 1, 2000, the office of the Chief State's Attorney shall, in consultation with the Commissioner of Public Safety and the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association, develop protocols for the surveillance by state police officers or municipal police officers, or both, of persons charged with the commission of a serious felony offense, as defined in section 54-82t, who are released on bond.
