    Sec. 1. This Act may be cited as the Illinois Seed Law.

    Sec. 2. Definitions. As used in this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, the terms specified in Sections 2.101 through 2.144 have the meaning ascribed to them in those Sections.

The term "agricultural seed" may include noxious weed seeds when the Director of Agriculture determines that such seed is being used as agricultural seed.

The second generation or subsequent generations from such crosses shall not be regarded as hybrids. Hybrid designations shall be treated as variety names.
