    (720 ILCS 235/1) (from Ch. 134, par. 16.3)
    Sec. 1. Any person who shall operate, or cause to be operated, or who shall attempt to operate, or attempt to cause to be operated any coin box telephone, coin operated transit turnstile or transit fare box by means of a slug, washer, disc, token, string, cord or wire or by means of any false, counterfeited, mutilated, sweated or foreign coin, or by any means, method, trick, or device whatsoever not lawfully authorized by the owner of such coin box telephone, coin operated transit turnstile or transit fare box or who shall obtain or receive from any coin box telephone, coin operated transit turnstile or transit fare box the use or enjoyment of any telephone or transit facilities or service without depositing in and surrendering to such coin box telephone, coin operated transit turnstile or transit fare box lawful coin of the United States of America to the amount required therefor by the owner of such coin box telephone, coin operated transit turnstile or transit fare box shall be guilty of a Class B misdemeanor.

    Sec. 1.
