Article 26.--RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR JUSTICES AND JUDGES

      20-2601c.   Preservation of entitlement to receive retirement annuity orother benefit or return of contributions from Kansas retirement fund forjudges.(a) On and after July 1, 1975, any person receiving or entitled toreceive a retirement annuity or any other benefit from the Kansasretirement fund for judges as it existed on June 30, 1975, shall beentitled to receive from Kansas public employees retirement system suchretirement annuity or other benefit under the same conditions as existedunder the acts contained in article 26 of chapter 20 of the Kansas StatutesAnnotated prior to July 1, 1975.

      (b)   On and after July 1, 1975, any person who would have become entitledto receive a retirement annuity or any other benefit from the Kansasretirement fund for judges as it existed on June 30, 1975, shall beentitled to receive from the Kansas public employees retirement system suchretirement annuity or other benefit as provided in the acts contained inarticle 26 of chapter 20 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, as amended bythis act, and in any other acts amendatory thereof.

      (c)   On and after July 1, 1975, any person who is entitled to receive areturn of contributions from the Kansas retirement fund for judges as itexisted on June 30, 1975, shall be entitled to receive from the Kansaspublic employees retirement system such return of contributions as providedin the acts contained in article 26 of chapter 20 of the Kansas StatutesAnnotated, as amended by this act, and in any other acts amendatorythereof.
