Chapter 24.--DRAINAGE AND LEVEES
Article 1.--GENERAL PROVISIONS

      24-129.   Same; notice and hearing.Whenever a petition in conformity to K.S.A. 24-128,signed by the board of directors of both of the affected drainagedistricts shall be presented to the board of county commissioners of theproper county, it shall be the duty of such board of countycommissioners forthwith to fix a time for the hearing of such petitionand to cause the county clerk to give notice thereof at least five (5)days before the date fixed for the hearing by one publication in somenewspaper published and of general circulation in the county.
