Chapter 24.--DRAINAGE AND LEVEES
Article 4.--DRAINAGE DISTRICTS WITHIN COUNTIES OR CITIES

      24-457.   Liability for damages for injury.That in addition to the penalties provided in the preceding section, theperson so wrongfully or purposely filling up, cutting, injuring, destroyingor impairing the usefulness of any drain, levee or other work shall beliable to the drainage district for all damages occasioned to such work andfor the full cost of repairing the same, and shall also be liable to theowners and occupants of land for all damages that may result to them bysuch wrongful act.
