Chapter 24.--DRAINAGE AND LEVEES
Article 4.--DRAINAGE DISTRICTS WITHIN COUNTIES OR CITIES

      24-499a.   Same; expenditure of funds from district withoutbudgeting.The township board of highway commissioners, and the board of countycommissioners, to which funds are transferred by a drainage districtunder the provisions of K.S.A. 24-499, may proceedpromptly with the purchase of rock or gravel, and with the distributionof the same upon public highways within said drainage districtboundaries, in said township and county, without having to comply withother provisions of statute requiring the budgeting of funds, prior toexpenditure thereof.
