Chapter 24.--DRAINAGE AND LEVEES
Article 6.--DRAINAGE IN ONE OR MORE COUNTIES

      24-655.   Same; validation of prior acts; vesting of property rights andcredits; liabilities.Such decree of renewal, extension and restoration shall validate allcontracts, acts, matters and things made, done and performed within thescope of its articles of association, by its board of supervisors, officersand agents, during the time when such articles of association wereinoperative or void after their expiration by limitation, with the sameforce and effect and to all intents and purposes as if said articles ofassociation had at all times remained in full force and effect; and allreal and personal property, rights and credits possessed by said drainagedistrict at the time its articles of association became inoperative or voidor expired by limitation, and which were not disposed of prior to the timeof such revival or renewal, shall be vested in such drainage district aftersuch revival and renewal, as fully and amply as they were held by saiddrainage district at and before the time its articles of association becameinoperative or void, or expired by limitation, and said drainage district,after such renewal and revival, shall be as exclusively liable for allcontracts, acts, matters and things made, done or performed in its name andon its behalf by its board of supervisors, officers and agents prior tosuch renewal, extension and restoration, as if its articles ofincorporation had at all times remained in full force and effect.
