Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION
Article 9.--LICENSES, PERMITS, STAMPS AND OTHER ISSUES

      32-932.   Physical disability, crossbowpermits.(a) Any person having a permanent disability to the extentthat such person cannot physically use a conventional long bowor compound bow, as certified by a person licensed to practice the healingarts in any state, shall beauthorized to hunt and take deer,antelope, elk or wild turkeywith a crossbow.

      (b)   The secretary of wildlife and parks shall adopt, in accordance withK.S.A. 32-805, and amendments thereto, rules andregulations requiring permits to hunt deer, antelope, elk or wildturkey pursuant tosubsection (a) and providing for the approval of applicants for suchpermits and the issuance thereof. In addition, thesecretary may adopt rules and regulations limiting the times and areas forhunting and taking deer, antelope, elk and wild turkey andlimiting the number of deer,antelope, elk and wild turkey which may be taken pursuant to subsection(a).

      (c)   Falsely obtaining or using a permit authorized by this section is aclass C misdemeanor.
