Chapter 34.--GRAIN AND FORAGE
Article 2.--INSPECTING, SAMPLING, STORING, WEIGHING AND GRADING GRAIN; TERMINAL AND LOCAL WAREHOUSES

      34-249a.   Warehousemen to furnish on demand ofsecretary information regarding certain receipts and amounts of grain;monthly statement, contents, signature.(a) Every public warehousemanconducting a public warehouse, upon demand of the secretary, shall furnish suchsecretary, in such form as may be required,information regardingreceipts issued or canceled, amounts of grain liabilities, amounts ofunencumbered grain and total amounts of grain in the public warehouse.

      (b)   The secretary shall require from each publicwarehouseman a monthlystatement of stocks of grain as of the last day of the preceding month foreach licensed warehouse location. The statement shall contain such informationand be in such form as may be prescribed by the secretary andshall includea statement setting forth the penalty for making false public warehousereports as provided in K.S.A. 21-3754 and amendments thereto.Each such statement shallbe signed bythe licensed public warehouseman.
