Chapter 36.--HOTELS, LODGINGHOUSES AND RESTAURANTS
Article 5.--FOOD SERVICE AND LODGING ESTABLISHMENTS

      36-519.   Secretary; cease and desist orders.(a) If the secretary determines after notice andopportunity for a hearing that any person has engaged in or isengaging in any act or practice constituting a violation of anyprovision of the food service and lodging act, and amendmentsthereto, or any rules and regulations or order issued thereunder,the secretary may require that such person cease and desist fromthe unlawful act or practice and take such affirmative action asin the judgment of the secretary will carry out the purposes ofthe violated or potentially violated provision of this act orrules and regulations or order issued thereunder. Any suchhearing shall be held in accordance with the provisions of theKansas administrative procedure act.

      (b)   This section shall be a part of and supplemental to thefood service and lodging act.
