Chapter 43.--JURORS
Article 1.--GENERAL PROVISIONS

      43-165.   Same; rules governing jury service, enforcement; unexcusednonattendance of juror, penalty.Each judicial district of the district court may direct from time totime, the number of jurors to be summoned for said court, and how long theyshall be summoned before their attendance shall be required, and may makesuch rules and orders as it may deem proper, touching the jury service ofthe court, not inconsistent with the provisions hereof, and may enforce thesame by attachment and fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100).Unexcused, nonattendance of a person summoned unless reasonable cause forsuch nonattendance be shown to the satisfaction of the court shall bepunished by the imposition of a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars($100) for each day of unexcused absence.
