Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 2.--KANSAS ARMY AND AIR NATIONAL GUARD

      48-219.   Penalty for unlawful acts affecting property.Whoever shall secrete, sell, dispose of, or offer for sale, or in anymanner pawn or pledge, or retain or refuse to deliver to an officerentitled to take possession thereof, any uniform, arms or equipment, theproperty of the United States, which shall have been secured under theprovisions of this act, or any military property belonging to the state ofKansas, and any member of the Kansas national guard who shall, when not onduty, wear any such uniform or equipment without the permission of the member'scommanding officer, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall bepunished by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than ten or morethan thirty days, or by a fine of not less than ten dollars nor more thanone hundred dollars.
