Chapter 48.--MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY
Article 2.--KANSAS ARMY AND AIR NATIONAL GUARD

      48-227.   Resumption of guard service after release from federalservice.Whenever the Kansas national guard, or any portion thereof, shall havebeen called or drafted into the service of the United States as provided byfederal law, all persons so called or drafted shall, upon their discharge,muster out or release from the service of the United States, resume theirmembership in the Kansas national guard and shall continue to serve thereinuntil the dates upon which their commissions or enlistments entered intoprior to their call or draft would have expired if uninterrupted.
