Chapter 50.--UNFAIR TRADE AND CONSUMER PROTECTION
Article 7.--FAIR CREDIT REPORTING

      50-715.   Civil liability for willful noncompliance.Any consumer reporting agency or user of information which willfullyfails to comply with any requirement imposed under K.S.A. 50-701 to 50-722,inclusive, and amendments thereto, with respect to any consumer is liableto that consumer in an amount equal to the sum of

      (a)   any actual damages sustained by the consumer as a result of thefailure;

      (b)   such amount of punitive damages as the court may allow; and

      (c)   in the case of any successful action to enforce any liability underthis section, the costs of the action together with reasonable attorney'sfees as determined by the court.
