Page 1 of 1 15.442 Court security officers ineligible to participate in fund -- Appointment of court security officer does not affect eligibility of sheriff or deputy sheriffs. (1) A court security officer certified pursuant to KRS 15.380 to 15.404 shall not be a deputy sheriff. (2) A court security officer certified pursuant to KRS 15.380 to 15.404 shall not be eligible for inclusion in the Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program fund. (3) The appointment of a court security officer, whether certified or not, by a sheriff shall not affect the ability of the sheriff or certified deputy sheriffs to participate in <br>the Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program fund if all other requirements <br>for participation in the fund under KRS 15.410 to 15.510 have been met. A sheriff <br>or deputy sheriff who is otherwise eligible under KRS 15.410 to 15.510 for <br>participation in the Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program fund shall not <br>be deemed ineligible because of the appointment of a court security officer by the <br>sheriff or by any other body.
