18A.400 Purpose of KRS 18A.400 to 18A.450.
The general purpose of KRS 18A.400 to 18A.450 is to assist in the development of a state personnel system that ensures that the employees of the Executive Department are utilized in the best and most efficient manner possible while providing them job security, fair compensation and benefits sufficient to motivate them to achieve their maximum performance for the citizens of the Commonwealth. The General Assembly finds that KRS 18A.400 to 18A.450 are necessary in order to determine and define new methods of quality management which should be adopted for this Commonwealth.
