35.295 Record to be forwarded to reviewing authority.
After every trial by court-martial, the record shall be forwarded to the convening authority, as reviewing authority, and action thereon may be taken by the officer who convened the court, an officer commanding for the time being, a successor in command, or by the Governor. He shall approve the sentence or such part, amount or commuted form of the sentence as he sees fit, and may suspend the execution of the sentence as approved by him.
