38.070 Oath of commissioned officers.
Every officer shall take and subscribe to an oath of office as prescribed by the Department <br>of Defense. The oath shall be taken and subscribed before any officer from any branch of <br>the armed services authorized to administer oaths. In case of neglect or refusal to take and <br>subscribe to the oath the commission shall be canceled by the Governor and a new <br>appointment shall be made to fill the vacancy.
