61.330 Chief state school officer to deliver effects to successor -- Penalty. Upon retiring from office the chief state school officer shall deliver to his successor all <br>books, papers, and effects belonging to the office, and on failure to do so he shall be fined <br>not less than one hundred dollars (&#36;100) nor more than five hundred dollars (&#36;500), <br>which shall be recovered by indictment in the Franklin Circuit Court.
