61.902 Appointment by secretary.
The secretary of the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet may commission special law <br>enforcement officers, for such time as he or she deems necessary, to protect and to <br>enforce the law on public property. Upon application of a unit or agency of state, county, <br>city or metropolitan government, the secretary may appoint those persons recommended <br>by the unit or agency who satisfy the requirements of KRS 61.900 to 61.930.
