64.528 Compensation of specified officials adjusted to current purchasing power of
the dollar.
In order to equate the current rate of compensation of Commonwealth's attorneys, county <br>clerks, county judges/executive, county attorneys, sheriffs, justices of the peace, and <br>commissioners with the present value and purchasing power of the dollar, the court <br>required by law to fix the compensation of the officials named in this section may, on or <br>before September 1, 1974, adjust said officials' compensation within the limits set forth in <br>Acts 1974, Chapter 254 and may provide that said officials be entitled to the maximum <br>amount of compensation for the entire 1974 calendar year.
