67A.260 Present employees. Employees, who at the time the provisions of KRS 67A.230 to 67A.350 become effective <br>have been in the employ of the urban-county government, or any city or county or other <br>municipality merged into such urban-county government, (a) for six (6) months last past <br>or (b) having been employed after taking a merit system examination, shall not be <br>required to stand an original examination, unless the comprehensive plan otherwise <br>provides, and shall be eligible for all the benefits provided by KRS 67A.230 to 67A.310, <br>unless the comprehensive plan otherwise provides. Effective: June 21, 1974 <br>History: Created 1974 Ky. Acts ch. 246, sec. 6, effective June 21, 1974.
