82.710 Requirements for local government nuisance code.
Any local government electing to enact a nuisance code and enforce violations of the nuisance code as civil violations shall enact an ordinance or ordinances which: (1) Establish the acts, actions, behavior, or conditions which constitute violations; (2) Establish reasonable standards and procedures for the enforcement of the nuisance
code;
(3) Provide for the establishment of a hearing board and hearing officers and the
procedures to be followed by the hearing board and hearing officers;
(4) Delegate responsibility for enforcement of the nuisance code to an agency or
department of the local government; and
(5) Establish penalties to be imposed upon persons determined to have violated the
nuisance code.
