97.257 Power of condemnation for park purposes. Whenever property shall be needed by any city of the first class for any park, playground, <br>or community center purpose contemplated in KRS 97.250 to 97.257, either within or <br>beyond the boundaries of such city, in the county in which such city is located, the <br>director of parks and recreation may, with the consent of the legislative body of such city, <br>order the condemnation of such property in the manner provided in the Eminent Domain <br>Act of Kentucky. History: Amended 1976 Ky. Acts ch. 140, sec. 49. -- Created 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 34, sec. 2.
