97.740 Operation of memorial -- Charges for use. The commission may use and permit the use of the memorial for conventions, theatrical <br>and musical performances, public entertainments and other like meetings or assemblages, <br>and may collect reasonable charges therefor, except where such use is for purposes of <br>such a distinct civic character or purely public benefit as shall, in the discretion of the <br>commission, render any charge for such use undesirable. All revenues thus derived shall <br>be held and used by the commission to the extent necessary to maintain and operate the <br>memorial, and to provide for a replacement and improvement fund as provided for in <br>KRS 97.770, with balances to be covered with the city treasury under certain <br>circumstances as provided in KRS 97.630 to 97.780.
