165.130 Contracts -- Bids for. Any work for which a bond issue has been provided may be done by contract or <br>otherwise, in the discretion of the president and trustees of the university. When any <br>contract involves the expenditure of two thousand dollars (&#36;2,000) or more it shall be <br>awarded to the lowest and best bidder. All bids or parts of bids for any such work, or for <br>any supplies, may be rejected by the president and trustees. The president and trustees <br>may do any part of the work by day labor when deemed advisable. Effective: October 1, 1942 <br>History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
