For the purposes of this chapter and KRS Chapter 178 on and after July 1, 2010, railroad <br>crossings, railroad spurs that access industrial parks, and shortline railroads at or near <br>intersections with roadways shall be considered roads. The industrial access road fund <br>within the Transportation Cabinet and other funds specified by the secretary or requested <br>by the secretary of the Cabinet for Economic Development may be used for their <br>maintenance and repair.
