Page 1 of 1 186A.500 Legislative finding. The General Assembly finds that purchasers when buying vehicles are entitled to know if <br>the vehicle has sustained prior severe damage. The most feasible mechanism for <br>conveying that information is a designation on the title that the vehicle has previously <br>sustained severe damage or has been rebuilt after being declared &quot;junk,&quot; &quot;salvage,&quot; or <br>&quot;water damaged.&quot; Effective: July 15, 1994 <br>History: Created 1994 Ky. Acts ch. 243, sec. 1, effective July 15, 1994.
