Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 186A.510, 186A.520, and 186A.530, if the <br>United States Department of Transportation requires a uniform method for titling salvage <br>and junk vehicles, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet shall promulgate administrative <br>regulations, pursuant to KRS Chapter 13A, to bring the provisions of KRS 186A.510, <br>186A.520, and 186A.530 into compliance with federal law.
