The Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall provide professional development for <br>staff employed by the cabinet or by local public agencies in child development, the <br>dynamics of physical and sexual abuse, the impact of violence on child development, the <br>treatment of offenders, and related issues. Each staff person who is employed by the <br>cabinet or by a local public agency and who works with children or with families shall <br>successfully complete the professional development program in order to remain assigned <br>to child or family programs.
