Page 1 of 1 205.732 Employment assistance program for low-income noncustodial parents. The cabinet shall, to the extent federal funding is available, establish a statewide program <br>to help low-income, noncustodial parents find and keep employment. The goal of the <br>program shall be to reduce welfare payments by helping participants become financially <br>responsible for their children. The cabinet shall involve local social service providers and <br>state and local government agencies, and may provide incentives to employers who hire <br>program participants. The program shall also encourage noncustodial parents to be <br>actively involved in their children's lives. Noncustodial parents may be required to enroll <br>in the program by court order. Effective: July 14, 2000 <br>History: Created 2000 Ky. Acts ch. 430, sec. 4, effective July 14, 2000.
