210.110 Officers, employees, and agents of Cabinet for Health and Family Services and regional community mental health-mental retardation programs not to sell <br>to or make contracts with institutions, facilities, or organizations under <br>cabinet's control if conflict of interest involved. (1) No officer, employee, or agent of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, a regional community mental health-mental retardation board or a nonprofit <br>corporation administering a regional community mental health-mental retardation <br>program shall sell anything to any institution, facility, or organization under the <br>control of the cabinet nor participate in selection, or in the award or administration <br>of a contract supported by state or federal funds if a conflict of interest, real or <br>apparent, would be involved. (2) Such a conflict of interest would arise when: (a) The employee, officer, or agent; <br>(b) Any member of his immediate family; <br>(c) His or her partner; or <br>(d) An organization which employs, or is about to employ, any of the above, has a financial or other interest in the firm selected for award.
