Page 1 of 1 211.9069 Equivalent certificate and equivalent accreditation -- Conditions of issuance. (1) Any person who has been issued a certificate in another state which has certification, educational, and experience requirements substantially equal to or <br>greater than those of this state, pursuant to KRS 211.9063, and which grants equal <br>certification privileges to persons certified in this state, may be issued an equivalent <br>certificate in this state upon terms and conditions determined by the department. (2) Any training provider which has been issued a certificate of accreditation in another state which has certification, educational, and experience requirements substantially <br>equal to or greater than those of this state, pursuant to KRS 211.9065, and which <br>grants equal accreditation privileges to training providers accredited in this state, <br>may be issued an equivalent accreditation in this state upon terms and conditions <br>determined by the department. (3) The department may consult with other states in order to facilitate reciprocity of certification and accreditation of lead-hazard detection and abatement services <br>among the states.
